Worked in Construction. Joined Mansell PLC as a trainee and appointed to the board in 1997. Part of the team who sold the business to Balfour Beatty in 2003 and was retained to be the Managing Director of Mansell which traded independently from BB for 10 years. During this period as a board, we grew the business to a sales level of 1 billion and 50 million profit in 5 years after the sale. Retired in 2013 and now a non-exec of a small construction group.
